hazelnut butter: for nutella lovers

First recipe of the year!

We would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a great 2018! We hope 2018 could bring you a year full of happiness and super healthy recipes full of flavor! We promise to continue to do our best to show you full-flavored recipes that are both healthy and easy to make. We just want to simplify your life!

Today we bring you a must have in any kitchen in the world. Nutella! But a homemade and healthy nutella! The kind of nutella that leave no remorse for weeks after you eat it. It is great to have homemade nutella, you can use it as a snack whenever you want. This was a recipe we had already promised when we showed you the delicious orange brownies, remember? (look here!)

It's so simple to do that you will not believe it. You just need a good food processor, four ingredients and a toast to taste it in the end! The nutella lovers will be delighted with this healthy version: it has a creamy texture but at the same time you can feel the texture of the hazelnut and an amazing chocolate flavor!

Ingredients

- 2 cups of hazelnuts - 100 g of a chocolate bar (we use Kaoka black chocolate with 75% cocoa) - honey to taste - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract - 1 pinch of salt

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Place the hazelnuts in a paper tray and bake them for 10 to 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and let cool on a cloth. Cover with another cloth, and rub the hazelnuts to remove the skin. Do not worry if you can not remove skins completely. Put the hazelnuts in a food processor and grind them, be careful on scraping the sides of the processor with the help of a spatula. Grind it until you get a creamy, butter-like consistency. In a medium pan, melt the chocolate bar in water bath until completely melted and creamy. Add to the hazelnut butter. In addition, add the coconut sugar (or honey), the vanilla extract and the pinch of salt. Back to shred to obtain a homogeneous mixture and adjust with coconut sugar until you achieve the desired sweet level. Transfer to an hermetic bottle and store at room temperature.
